BDLUC is a product of Auto Probaho Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This page explains what information the site collects and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, write to us from the Contact page.
When you create an account we store your email address and a secure hash of your password, never the password itself. You can add your name, a photo, and, if you choose, an age range and gender. Age range and gender are optional and only ever used as anonymous totals.
We sign you in with a single cookie that keeps your session.
What you enter for a company (its name, what it does, team size, founding year, area, website and the images you upload) is shown publicly in the city and on its page. Contact details you give for the company are shown on its page, one company at a time, never in downloadable lists.
Some companies were added from public information. Their owners can claim them, correct them, or ask us to remove them.
To claim a company you send us your name, role, work email, phone, a photo and a document. These are private: only our reviewers can open them, and the document and photo are deleted as soon as the claim is decided.
Messages you send through the Contact page or to hello@bdluc.com reach our team's inbox. We only email you when you need to act: a password reset, the progress of your claim, or our reply to your message. We never send newsletters or sign-up emails, and we never sell or share your address.
To understand how the city is used we count visits with a random visitor number kept in your browser. With it we record the kind of device, browser and operating system, the language and screen size, the pages you open, and the country, region and city your connection comes from (as reported by Cloudflare). If you are signed in, the visit is linked to your account. We do not store your IP address or follow you across other websites. Visit records are deleted after about four months.
We also use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages people use. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and is run by Google under its own privacy policy. You can block it with your browser's tracking protection or Google's opt-out add-on, and the site keeps working.
The site and its data run on Cloudflare. Emails are sent through Resend. Usage statistics go to Google Analytics. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
You can edit your profile and your listings at any time from your profile page. To get a copy of your data, correct something you can't edit yourself, or delete your account and listings, write to us from the Contact page and we will do it.
